Picturesque, graceful, and striking. These words aptly describe the
former campus of Furman University in downtown Greenville. Yet, the
old campus is gone and very little remains from its historic buildings.
During the recent construction and renovation of the James B. Duke Library,
the Special Collections and Archives staff rediscovered treasures from
the former campus: twenty-eight stained glass windows which had originally
hung in Judson Alumni Hall.
