I am a Tarheel born and bred, growing up in Fayetteville,
North Carolina. Having been blessed with a short attention span I
always (almost) enjoy new things. I love travel, and when I find myself
unable to take myself somewhere new, I travel via books, movies, and
the theater. I love the outdoors and nature which causes me to go
to school to study biology meaning I spend a lot of time indoors in
windowless labs. This picture shows me on a trip to Scotland, while
studying to enter graduate school in Ocean Sciences. What I didn’t
know then -- getting in is easy, it is getting out that is causing
a problem -- and the struggle yet continues. Having lived in the Midwest
and West Coast, I am thrilled to find myself now living and working
where people don’t look at you funny when you constantly say
“yes ma’am” and “yes sir” and there
is BBQ, green peanuts, and decent peaches.
