Responsibilities: Serves as supervisor of the Music Library, meeting the curricular and research needs of patrons, managing student workers, and acting as library liaison to the music department for both collection development and public services.

FAIRBAIRN, MARY - Instructional Services / Reference Librarian

Responsibilities: Leads the library's curriculum-integrated information fluency program. Responsible for the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the program.

FERGUSON, CRIS - Electronic Resources / Serials Librarian
Education: B.A., University of Richmond; M.S., University of Tennessee
Responsibilities: Coordinates acquisition of and access to the library's electronic resources, including research databases, online journals, and electronic books, and to serials in all formats. Facilitates patron access to electronic resources and serials via the catalog and other web-based access tools. Works with other library departments on issues related to electronic resources and serials.

KELLY, BETTY - Collection Development / Acquisitions Librarian
Education: B.A., Furman University; M.L.S., University of North Carolina
Responsibilities: Supervises the processes of selection and deselection of library materials in all formats. Coordinates the library liaison program. Receives gifts in kind, makes purchases in certain special areas of the collection, and prepares usage and collection development reports on a regular basis.

LANDI, DEBBIELEE - Special Collections Librarian and University Archivist
Education: B.A., Rutgers University; M.A., University of Mississippi; M.L.I.S., University of British Columbia
Responsibilities: General oversight of Special Collections and Archives including acquisition, promotion, and conservation of the Furman University Archives, South Carolina Baptist Historical Collection, South Carolina Poetry Archives, Special Collections for Music, and the Rare Book and Manuscripts Collections.

MILLS, CAROLINE - Access/Instructional Services Librarian

Responsibilities: Serves as coordinator and supervisor of the Access Services Department. Supports library instruction, reference services, and collection development.

RICHARDSON, STEVE - Coordinator of Reference Services

Responsibilities: Planning, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of reference services and resources.

SALZMAN, SCOTT - Systems Librarian
Education: B.S., State University of New York at Cortland; M.A., New York University; M.L.S., University of Arizona
Responsibilities: Manages or provides general oversight of many aspects of library information technologies, including web and proxy server platform management, Millennium integrated library system management, purchasing, installation, maintenance and support of library-specific hardware and software. Provides primary or backup support for most library information technologies. Works closely with C&IS.

SENNYEY, PONGRACZ - Associate Director of Libraries

Responsibilities: Exercises library-wide authority with broad administrative responsibilities in areas of personnel administration, facilities management and general administration. Advises and assists the Director in the overall management of the Library, serves as chief administrative officer in the absence of the Director. Directly supervises the Circulation Department.

SLOAN, NANCY - Head of Cataloging
Education: B.A., Otterbein College; M.L.S, University of Pittsburgh
Responsibilities: Manages copy cataloging processes for monographic items and responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of mongraphs and other media. Oversees the maintenance of the on-line catalog.

WELBORN, VICTORIA - Science Librarian
Education: B.A., Wake Forest University; M.L.S., Kent State University; M.S. candidate, University of California, Santa Cruz
Responsibilities: Supports library instruction, reference services, and collection development in the natural sciences, serves as library liaison to science departments, and oversees the Ezell Science Reading Room in the science building.

YOUNG, LIBBY - Government Documents / Reference Librarian
Education: B.S., Barrington College; M.L.S., University of Rhode Island
Responsibilities: Oversees the US Government Documents Depository Collection and related services. Provides research assistance and library instruction. Participates in the activities of the Reference Department including collection development and web development.
