 Betty is a Furman graduate, but worked in a number of different academic libraries over the years before coming back "home" to the Furman library. She loves the challenge of acquisitions work and following the ever-changing world of publishing. Her hobbies include reading, music, old classic movies, her pets, and visiting with her two daughters who are now (finally!) out on their own. One of her collecting interests is turtles: carved, stone, wood, fabric, large, small, handmade, puppets, etc. (Anyone who has visited her desk probably already knows this). |
