I have 4 kids (3 grown and my husband) and a dog named Daisy. PLUS one super grandbaby, Jonathan.

I grew up in Harlem in New York City, across the Hudson River from Yankee Stadium. Butterfly McQueen, of Gone With the Wind fame, was a neighbor of mine.

I have met the Jackson Five (except for Michael), Julius Erving, The Isley Brothers, and John McCain.

My passion is reading. Favorite books include The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

My travel dreams are to visit Egypt, Greece and Venice.
