Abstract: This collection contains postcards from around the United States and the world, originally collected by John L. Plyler, Jr. Plyler began the collection in 1943 as a Cub Scout project, and it was supplemented by various family members and friends. The collection continued to grow under the ownership of Plyler's brothers and, eventually, his sons.
