Abstract: The Bennette E. Geer Papers (1927-1963) are organized topically and consist mainly of correspondence and financial records. The bulk of this collection falls within the years of Geer’s presidency from 1933 to 1938. The correspondence covers subjects such as adult education, the Duke endowment, the executive committee, faculty, funds, aid and scholarships, the law library, the library, student activities, and student records, in addition to other subject matters.
Arrangement: Materials are arranged by subject matter in alphabetical order.
