Abstract: The Cook papers consist primarily of correspondence dating from 1882 to 1933, inclusive. The bulk of the collection dates between 1891 and 1927, however. Cook was a keen observer of denominational and political life. His correspondence reflects those interests, along with his concerns related to Furman University.
