Abstract:The collection donated by Mrs. Goldsmith was separated into the Manly Family Collection, the Basil Manly, Sr. Collection, and the Basil Manly, Jr. Collection. The bulk of this collection consists of Basil Manly, Sr.s sermons between 1829 and 1865. Manlys papers also contain personal correspondence, essays, a military pass dated 1864, and a pardon by President Andrew Jackson. Box 4 of this collection contains all Oversize materials from the Basil Manly, Sr. Collection, the Basil Manly, Jr. Collection, and the Manly Family Collection.
