Humanities Abstracts indexes about 400 English language journals in a wide variety of subjects including history, archaeology, classical studies, folklore, and religion. About 96 of the journals indexed are full text.
M.L.A. Bibliography
Bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. The MLA International Bibliography provides access to scholarly research in over 3,000 journals and series. It also covers relevant monographs, working papers, proceedings, bibliographies, and other formats. Although the "M" stands for "Modern" it indexes many journals which include medieval topics.
LION (Literature Online)
A fully searchable library of more than 350,000 works of English and American poetry, drama and prose, plus biographies, bibliographies and key criticism and reference resources. Also includes the full text of 103 literature journals.
Gale Literary Index

International Medieval Bibliography
The International Medieval Bibliography indexes several hundred medieval history journals. This database is available on CD-ROM at the Reference Desk. Most of the journals indexed are in European languages other than English. The database does not include full text.
