Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

What is LEED?

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a consensus-based program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council to define and document a standard that improves environmental and economic performance of commercial buildings using established and/or advanced industry principles, practices, materials and standards. It is a voluntary performance-oriented system where credits are earned for satisfying the criteria.
