Stormwater Management: Treatment

A packaged stormwater treatment system is installed in the small paved delivery and service parking area that separates oil from the stormwater prior to mixing with site and roof stormwater. All roof and site stormwater is piped via an underground system to a retention pond that is a natural constructed wetland. The combination of the stormwater treatment device and the natural treatment of the constructed wetland meets TSS and Phosphorous removal requirements as they are recognized by BMP for meeting the stated goals in the EPA's Guidance Specifying Management measures for Sources of Non-point Pollution in Coastal Waters, Chapter 4, Part II.
