As part of the Library’s mission, the Cataloging Department provides access to library materials in all physical formats through bibliographic control, organization and maintenance. Employing nationally accepted practices and procedures, the Department, as primary architect for building a bibliographic data base, will strive to maintain its accuracy while processing library materials as efficiently as possible.
