Silent Auction Rules & Tips
You are bidding on vintage card catalog units.
Each unit is made of solid wood and is EXTREMELY HEAVY, appoximately
350 lbs. Units have light, dark or medium finish with 60-, 72-, or 100-drawer
capacity. The minimum bid is $150.00. Pictures of each unit may be viewed
on the Auction Homepage (thumbnail images) and on
the individual item pages (accessible from the homepage) or at a small display
in the Library lobby.Buyer assumes responsibility to pick up units from the curbside in front of the Library. Buyer will be notified of the pick-up date after auction has ended. Buyer will need to provide additional individuals to load units from curb to your vehicle. This is a VERY HEAVY piece of furniture. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. In the event of a dispute, the Library will act as final authority to determine the winning bidder. All decisions will be final. Minimum bid is $150.00. All items are sold AS IS. To be valid, all bid forms must be fully completed with name, phone number, e-mail address (if applicable), date, time, item number and bid amount. Incomplete forms will delay the time your bid is posted. All bids will be confirmed by phone or email. The best chance of winning one unit is to bid on all of them. Buyer may decline multiple "wins". Bidding begins Monday, April 21 at 9:00 a.m. and ends Friday, May 9 at 5:00 p.m. Payment is due Wednesday, May 21. We will accept cash or check. If no payment is received, unit will go to the next highest bidder. Winners will be notified by phone or e-mail by Wednesday, May 14. Units are being sold for PICK UP ONLY. Buyer MUST be available to take possession of unit(s) on the date that will be specified after end of auction. |
