Card Catalog Silent Auction
The James B. Duke Library is holding a silent auction to retire 12 card catalog units. Due to the automation of the Library's catalog, we no longer have a use for them... but you just might. These large, cabinet-like structures are made of solid wood and can be used to store tools, tapes, wine bottles, supplies, and even Barbie dolls. Don't miss this opportunity to finally get all your stuff organized!

All 12 of the units are listed below. By clicking on an image or the text to the right of it, you can access a page with a larger picture and a more detailed description of that particular unit. The silent auction will be held from April 21 through May 9. Make sure you read the "Rules & Tips" page (see link below) and ask any questions before bidding. To submit a bid, please use the "Bid Form" link below. For answers to your questions or to call in a bid by phone, contact Linda Schinck at (864) 294-2193 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
